Meet Cindy
Virtual Assistant, Brand and Graphic Designer
I built this because I needed
it myself...
And I couldn't find it anywhere.
This is not a polished origin story.
I didn't wake up with a business plan. I woke up exhausted.
Two young kids. My own health challenges. A career in recruitment that gave me skills but no flexibility. I studied graphic design hoping that would change things. It didn't.
In 2020 - in the middle of a pandemic, homeschooling, and losing my grandmother - something became very clear.
The structure I was trying to fit into wasn't working. And I was done waiting for the right time to build something different.
I started offering virtual assistance to people I already knew. No grand launch. Just a quiet decision to try - in the hours my family could spare.
It grew. And something I hadn't felt in years came back. A sense that my work was mine.

I don't leave the hard
parts out.
I have IBS.
Some days my body makes the decision about what kind of day it's going to be - and I've had to build a business that can hold that.
I have a son with anxiety. Watching him navigate the world has shaped how I think about pacing, pressure, and what it actually means to support someone.
I share these things not for sympathy - but because I think you deserve to know who you're learning from. Not the highlight reel.
The real version.
Why I built the course:
I became a coach because I couldn't find what I needed.
When I started out I searched everywhere for something that showed me the whole picture - clearly, in order, without assuming I had a business background or spare ten hours a week.
It didn't exist. So once I'd built my own business and watched it work, I built the course I wished I'd had.
Your Biz Bestie: VA Foundations is everything I learned, organised into six modules, designed for women who are capable and motivated - and constrained by real life.
I also run Create & Evolve, a branding and design agency. So when you're ready for help with your visual identity down the track, I know a person.

A few things I know to
be true.
Flexibility isn't a luxury.
For many of us it's essential.
A business that doesn't fit your real life is just another pressure.
You don't need to know everything to begin. Clarity comes through action, not preparation. Starting is what creates confidence.
Clear beats complicated. One path. Right order. No overwhelm. That's what this is built on.
